About Me

As a dedicated special education teacher for middle school students on the autism spectrum, I am passionate about creating supportive, individualized learning environments where every student can thrive. I design and implement personalized education plans (IEPs), adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs while fostering social, emotional, and academic growth. Through consistent collaboration with families, therapists, and colleagues, I ensure each student receives holistic support.

In addition to leading social skills groups and promoting positive classroom behavior, I actively pursue professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and autism research. Aspiring to become a School Building Leader, I aim to extend my impact beyond the classroom, advocating for inclusive education and fostering school communities where all learners are empowered to succeed.

“A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.”
